Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa (IDC), in partnership with the African Development Bank (AFDB) is seeking to fund women owned businesses in the SADC region, through AFAWA (Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa). AFAWA is a pan-African initiative to bridge the $42 billion financing gap facing women in Africa.

African Women in Business and Womanomics Africa are assisting in the compilation of a list of businesses that might fit the funding criteria.
