Manufacturing Covid-19 Masks.

African-WIB has grouped together a database of 40 women cooperatives across the nation of South Africa who are members of the organization and are sewing Facial Cloth Masks. African-WIB has agreed to do the administration of the project, ensuring proper invoicing, collections and deliveries of the masks to various clients. We have a capacity of producing 30000 masks per day. We carry stock of 250 000 masks on government specifications for schools. This is part of our fulfillment of Women Empowerment Agenda. We have registered on the Central Supplier Database of the Treasury Department and with the Department of SMMEs for this project.

Types of products manufactured
• washable cloth facial mask for kids, adults and, branded corporate masks
• material used – breathable, cotton, mini matt, polyester
• 3 layered masks with inner filter lining
• covering a minimum of 50% nose and 25mm under chin below are some of the women in their cooperative and a few samples of what they can make.
